Kyushu Quake

I guess Fukuoka isn’t as safe as I thought. We had a 7.0 quake around 10:50 this morning. Nobuko and I were still in bed when it woke us up. The whole apartment was shaking, and I heard things falling and glass breaking in our living area. Aftershocks were very frequent and we are still having them now. From watching the news it looks like we were lucky —we just had a lot of broken dishes and a big mess— but a lot of houses and buildings were really damaged.
