The next major update to Mac OS X comes out this Friday, and I really want a copy. Too bad, since the trouble” ((“Trouble and strife–Cockney rhyming slang which means wife.”))” forbade me from buying anything “expensive†until after June. I might have to break out my credit card and pull a fait accompli!

Nobuko and I were woken up by another quake today at about 6:11 this morning. The first reports claimed it was a 7.0 but it is now being reported as a 6+ quake. Not as strong as the quake last month but it still managed to do damage to buildings and cause injuries. I think it’s definitely time to move to somewhere a little more stable. Kinda of scary considering what I posted last night!

It’s been about three and a half weeks since the quake and we’re still having aftershocks. We had a pretty strong one about an hour ago that rattled our dishes pretty bad. Every time there is a strong aftershock I feel like my stomach has jumped into my chest and I feel like I am going to be sick. I’ve decided that I really hate earthquakes.
