Lucas to Release Original Unaltered Trilogy on DVD ★
Lucasfilm Ltd.:
In response to overwhelming demand, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release attractively priced individual two-disc releases of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Each release includes the 2004 digitally remastered version of the movie and, as bonus material, the theatrical edition of the film. That means you’ll be able to enjoy Star Wars as it first appeared in 1977, Empire in 1980, and Jedi in 1983.

Bastards. I broke down and finally bought the current DVD trilogy collection just a few months ago — now I’ve got to pay for it yet again just to get the versions of the films that I really want. If they ever diddle with the Han-vs.-Greedo scene again, they ought to have Han shoot George Lucas.
I agree. Bastards all around. I bought the current, edited, DVD trilogy last fall because I figured Lucas would never admit that he was wrong in editing the original movies. I guess Lucas and Fox needed a way to make more money. I really want a copy of these new DVDs, but it really pisses me off that I have to pay yet again. Lucas is really alienating the fans who helped make him and Star Wars a success.

Many of you may have seen photos of the American flag being flown upside down and below the Mexican flag at the last big demonstration by the criminals also know as illegal aliens. As a public service I have posted the image as the flag should have been flown.

To all of the illegal aliens in America planning on boycotting—
When you first decided to enter the United States illegally you must have realized that as an illegal immigrant you would lack the rights due American citizens or legal immigrants. Surely, you realized that you would have no legal recourse when it came to low wages, poor working conditions, lack of healthcare, and other benefits reserved for citizens and those who choose to abide by the laws of the United States and enter the country legally.
At that time you must have made a choice and decided that the lack of said rights was outweighed by the expedient entrance to the U.S. illegally. America did not force you to make that choice, the responsibility for your actions resides solely upon your shoulders.
Now, you feel that you did not make the right choice, and so you are placing the blame elsewhere and protesting for your rights.
Too bad. It was your choice and now you have two options.
- Return to your country of origin and demand/protest for your rights there.
- Go back to work and live with the choices that you made.
